Connie Jones – Owner

Dr. Connie Jones graduated from Texas A&M University in 1989. She began her veterinary career practicing in California and Missouri before ultimately settling in North Carolina. In February 2007, she joined Neuse River Veterinary Hospital, where she focused on small animal medicine and surgery. In June 2010, Dr. Jones purchased the small animal practice from Dr. Jim Meyer and Dr. Bob Meyer.

With over 37 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Dr. Jones brings extensive expertise in both patient care and practice management. She values building strong relationships with her team and is committed to providing high-quality veterinary medicine. Dr. Jones is excited to see how the continued growth of the Wendell community will shape the future of Neuse River Veterinary Hospital, and she is proud to work alongside what she considers one of the best teams in the field.

Dr. Jones lives in Wendell with her husband, Sam. They have 1 son, Spencer, that is currently attending college. Outside of work, she enjoys raising, showing, and participating in field work with her Jack Russell Terriers. Dr Jones has a small farm and enjoys just being on the farm with the dogs and horses. Her entire family loves to travel and hike, and with her husband retiring soon they hope to do more in the next few years.
